Therefore E36WB3, like all weathering steels, offers excellent, cost effective protection against atmospheric conditions without the need for painting or external treatment.
E36WB4 steel plate is a weather-resistant structural steel with mechanical properties similar to E36WB4 . By adding Cr, Cu and Ni, it formed oxide layers stick firmly to the workpiece surface. This oxide layer prevents further corrosion of the steel.
The main alloying elements are chromium nickel and copper with added phosphorous which gives it excellent self protecting qualities.
As the steel reacts with elements in the atmosphere, the material forms a layer of rust over time which in essence protects the steel from corrosion.
WR50A steel is the Equivalent grades as S355J0WP (1.8945) steel in EN 10025 - 5 : 2004 standard and FE510C1K1 steel in UNI standard and also E36WA3 steel in NFA 35-502 standard.
WR50B steel is a weather resistant steel created by alloying copper, chromium and nickel. WR50B has added phosphorous which makes the material best suited for gas flue applications and for aesthetic facias .
Requirements to hot rolled plates ≤3mm in thickness according to EN 10025-5.
WR50C steel Delivery condition: According to the requirements of customers, the carbon steel mild steel plate and sheet could be
hot rolled, cold rolled, normalized, annealed, tempered, normalized+ tempered and tempering.
