Steel plate A514 Grade A is under steel standard specification for high yield strength ASTM A514/A514M.A514GrA is alloy steel plate with quenching and tempering heat treatment when rolling.A514 Grade A is a high strength steel plate with the minimum yield strength at 690Mpa for the thickness belows 65mm,and 620 Mpa for the thickness above 65mm,the tensile strength shall be within 760-895 Mpa. The manufacturer may reheat-treat plates that fail to meet the mechanical property requirements of this specification when rolling of high tension steel plate A514GrA.All mechanical property tests shall be repeated whenmaterial is resubmitted for inspection.
